After it’s first introduction for SS16, the Bank Pant quickly became a favorite silhouette amongst the Adsum loyal. They came about when we wanted a more comfortable & loose fitting alternative to our classic fit FF (Flat Front) Pant from previous seasons. The name is inspired by fresh water fishing. We saw it as a pant you’d wear after fly fishing on the river bank. It’s easy to get in an out of and relaxed for the end of a long day of fishing.
We swapped a standard button closure waistband is for an elastic waistband with drawstring cord. A considerable amount of time was put into pattern work of so there is a nice balance between the front and back rise. These are tweaked just enough. Due to the waistband and fit, the bank is fairly versatile. If you fit a medium, chances are you could fit a large if you wanted a really baggy look, or size down if you’re looking for something more fitted.
This seasons Bank pant comes in two fabric offerings and colors. The beige colorway comes in a luxurious dry Italian twill. The other variation is a lightweight navy cotton ripstop fabric. Again, this fabric has a dry hand feel, ideal for feeling cool when the humidity climbs, but is a lighter weight option to the beige twill option.
Both are finished with double welt back pockets and a poly horn button closure. Poly horn was chosen because of their strength. They look like horn buttons but won’t break in the wash. Drawstrings are finished with metal tips.Shop SS18 Bank Pant
