Summer 2021 Shirting

If there is one thing that the team loads up on for their personal orders every drop, it's our shirting. We find that a lot of mens woven shirting styles fit too slim and too short for our taste. Some shirts have back panel pieces and darts to make them form fitting. Not ours. It has been 6 years of tweaking our shirt block and we're here, the collared shirts we all want to wear.

For our summer offering we have a custom milled large stripe shirt made from a sturdy 2 ply oxford cloth. The Madras Premium BD is made from a high density typewriter cloth, custom milled to our weight and color spec. Both are fabrics work well in the summer interacting well with our classic fit that is on the roomier side which helps with breathability. We cut and sew our shirting styles using traditional shirt making techniques and machinery giving our Premium Button Downs sharp collar points and well finished seams. The buttons used on Drop 2 Striped Oxford and Madras are cut from Trocas snail shells then laser etched with our logo.

On cooler days & nights, or if you need something more hardwearing, our workshirts fit the bill. Both of this season's offerings come in tonal colorways and are made a custom milled double side brushed cotton with dual front chest pockets. We prefer a tougher, more impact resistant button so we use high shine polyester buttons that we developed the first season our workshirt was produced in 2016.

We will continue on the development path with our woven shirting styles. Every season there will be new fabric qualities, new colors and sometimes new shirting styles. We generally will never repeat a plaid pitch or colorway unless it is a classic pitch and color combo like Black Watch or a thin stripe on an oxford.
