For our second SS20 installment, we’ve applied some of our favorite seasonal fabrics to a new hat body as well as a bucket hat style. Both equally fitting for a round of 18 or a day of leisure, these caps check all the boxes and will keep your dome shaded and comfortable for whatever the summer months throw at you.
The Script Hat, made of 100% cotton piece dyed ripstop and featuring our Script cursive logo. This hat utilizes a deeper crown than our traditional 6 panel logo cap as well as a semi permacurve visor, taking the work of trying to curve the visor yourself out of your hands. The back closure of the hat is made out of nylon webbing and features a plastic push clasp closure for easy fastening and adjusting. The strap is anchored to the body of the hat using a piece of elastic, which allows for the hat to stretch and easily fit to all head sizes. The headband is constructed out of terrycloth to help wick and absorb sweat during the hot summer months. Our Script Hat is offered in Ecru and Dark Navy.
The Plaid Breaker Hat is constructed using the same hat body as the Script Hat mentioned above and shares our custom water resistant plaid seersucker featured on the Plaid Breaker Jacket and Bank Short from this season. Our Adsum Tab Label is set into the seam on the back closure of the hat to add subtle branding that makes up for the absence of artwork on the front of the hat. Served in custom Dark Navy and Grape pitches, this hat is a great choice if you want to ditch the traditional blackwatch or tartan plaid you’ve been wearing in the fall/winter and switch it up to a more summer-friendly plaid option in the coming months.
The bucket hat hits the nail on the head when considering the inspiration behind our SS20 collection. Worn heavily by caddies and groundskeepers for rain and sun protection purposes, the style itself is engrained with utilitarian aspects that we at Adsum appreciate and try and integrate into our products whenever it makes sense. The SS20 bucket is made out of water-resistant nylon and is equipped with an anchored drawcord and cord lock for easy fit adjustment to keep the hat in place while performing various activities. We lined the interior headband with a soft touch elastic, allowing for the hat to expand and fit comfortably to most head shapes and sizes. The Bucket Hat comes in Dark Navy and Stone and is finished with a white Adsum heat transfer at the center-front of the hat.
