FW20 Knit Goods

The last release of 2020, (except for a secret capsule collection that will be launched early December) is our cut and sew knit goods. All product has been manufactured from start to finish in Toronto, Canada. Our knit supplier knits, dyes, cuts, sews, and finishes all garments from start to finish as one operation.

Sweat Tops and Outerwear

Knits are simple goods in comparison to some of technical outerwear pieces, however, it’s difficult to do simple things well, and we believe that our supplier is the best in the business. They knit our jersey and fleece to spec from American open end cotton. All dyeing and washing is done done under the same roof and every style that has been delivered from Canada is washed and preshrunk so you don’t have to be too careful during your wash process at home.

During the winter season we shift away from our spring summer french terry quality to fleece jersey on our crewneck and hoodie styles. Fleece performs better in winter due to its heavily brushed backside which provides loft and warmth when worn next to the skin. All fleece weighs in at 400GSM. Notable seasonal colors in our fleece styles include dark green and bright blue and they are flanked by core classics dark navy and bleached heather grey.

One very subtle tweak to our FW20 Tees is an increased collar height. We adjusted collar height from 3/4” in past seasons to 1” to give our tees a more substantial look and feel for the winter season. Every tee shirt style has a coverstitch which straddles the neck rib and main body fabric to stabilize the collar, so it won’t pucker and will lay flat on your neck even after multiple wash and dries. It’s an extra sewing process that adds cost to manufacturing but we prefer our tees to be made this way.

New seasonal colors include a dusty green, bright red, grass green, purple, dark green and cream. Every season we release limited limited quantities of custom dyed tees so there are no “in-stock” colors ever. We develop our own shades so each is one of a kind. Our Adsum Mountain Works graphic includes a modern triangular graphic motif and the Optima tee, a continuation of our seasonal font based graphics, gives a nod to the most famous park in the world.

A little late, but worth the wait.
